FAQ'S

Your print, sign and design questions answered!

I have a project to quote, what Information do you need from me?

Preparing a few details ahead of time helps us understand your needs clearly and will ensure your project is quoted accurately. Here’s what to include when requesting a quote:

  • Type of service you need (Shop front/Car wraps/Brochures etc)
  • If you need Artwork or you will provide your own
  • Photographs of your vehicle/shop front/site.
  •  Your current branding or any design inspiration

Job Specifics:

  • Vehicle Make, model, year & colour
  • Signage Location of install & placement (e.g. windows, fascia)
  • Quantities, sizes, deadlines, timeframes & Budgets

I'm on a Tight Budget — How Can I Keep My Costs Down?

Here are a few tips to help keep your project costs as low as possible:

Plan Ahead

  • Avoid scope changes once work has started
  • Minimise artwork revisions by having a clear idea of what you want from the start
  • Provide as much finalised information as you can upfront
  • Supply all text in a typed, copy-paste format (e.g. Word or email – not handwritten or screenshots)
  • If you’re using stock images, search for what you want and send us links to save our designers some time
  • Share  brand files in the correct file format to avoid extra design fees

Can I Get a Printed Proof or Sample?

Yes! – depending on the project, we may be able to provide a printed proof, colour test sheet, or a scaled-down sample to help you visualise the final result.

Printed proofs are especially useful for checking: Colours,  finishes, Material compatibility
& alignment and scale.

Please note, there may be an additional cost for the service & additional materials.

I have a design already, what files format do you require?

Provide your artwork in high-resolution, print-ready format. Here’s what works best:

Preferred File Types:

✓ Vector files: .AI, .EPS, SVG, & PDF  – These allow us to scale your design without any loss of quality – ideal for signage, wraps, and branding.

✓ High-resolution raster files such as JPG, TIFF for non vector graphics such as photographs.

Avoid:

✘ Screenshots or low-res images pulled from websites & social media.

✘ Upscaling or resampling small image resolutions – this does not improve the image quality.

✘ Re-saving raster files in vector format as this doesn’t change the image format & quality.

✘ Sending graphics embedded in Word, PowerPoint, or similar.

HELP! - I don't have the right file type for printing

If you’re unsure or don’t have artwork in the right format, no worries – our design team can help convert or recreate your files, or design something fresh to suit your brand.

How do I maintain my signage?

We supply a large range of signage products with numerous different materials and finishes so maintenance needs are unique to each product.

Most of our signs require very little maintenance.

Care needs to be taken when cleaning to avoid damage, scuffs and scratches can be caused by cleaning tools & pressure washers, whilst chemicals can cause colours/inks to fade and weaken adhesives.
